Wusthof is a German knife maker, and still remains one the best knife maker in Germany. This knife is manufactured in Solingen. Just like sekki is the heart town of knife makers in japan, so is soligen in Germany.

Other knife-making brands like Henckel, also manufacture their products in the same town. May be, that’s more reason why they seem to have similar product look at times, though with little differences. Like the classic chef knife by wusthof, that looks like that of Henckels.
